Southern European Transport Company Combines JSTARY Batteries with Onboard Solar, Achieves Zero-Fuel Parking Charging

A Spanish logistics company has demonstrated an innovative solution: combining JSTARY 48V lithium batteries with rooftop solar panels to automatically recharge batteries during parking.

The company operates fresh produce routes from southern Spain to southern France, with vehicles frequently parked overnight on roadsides. In the past, drivers idled engines to power parking AC. After the upgrade, each vehicle received two 200W flexible solar panels charging JSTARY batteries via MPPT controllers. In sun-drenched southern Spain, daytime parking provides about 1.5kWh of solar charging – enough for overnight AC operation.

“This system gives us true zero-emission parking,” said the Operations Director. “Free solar charging, efficient JSTARY storage – payback period under two years.”
