North American Logistics Company Optimizes Battery Usage Strategy with JSTARY Data Platform, Extends Lifespan by 30%

A North American logistics company operating 300 heavy-duty trucks has shared the results of its data-driven battery management approach. Since 2024, the company has fully adopted JSTARY smart lithium batteries and the accompanying data management platform, accumulating over 18 months of charge/discharge history data.

By analyzing battery health reports generated by the platform, the company discovered that some vehicles showed significantly faster degradation than others. Further investigation revealed that these vehicles had alternators with output voltages set too high, causing chronic overcharging. After alternator adjustments, degradation returned to normal. Based on data insights, the company also trained drivers on optimal charging habits, with overall battery life expected to extend by 30%.
