Asian Port Operator Adopts JSTARY Lithium Batteries, Increases Container Tractor Efficiency by 30%

A major port operator has announced the results of its container tractor battery upgrade project. The port handles thousands of containers daily, with tractors requiring frequent start-stop cycles and extended idling, placing immense stress on batteries.

In 2025, the operator replaced batteries in 100 container tractors with JSTARY 48V lithium batteries. Following the upgrade, start response time was cut by 50%, operation interruptions due to battery issues dropped by 80%, and overall efficiency increased by 30%. The battery’s fast charging capability allows tractors to recharge during short breaks.
