North American Logistics Company Adopts JSTARY Lithium Batteries to Solve -30℃ Extreme Cold Start Challenge

A logistics company based in Quebec, Canada, specializing in cargo transport across Northern Canada and high-altitude cold regions, operates in areas where winter temperatures drop to -30℃ to -40℃. In the past, lead-acid batteries frequently failed to start vehicles in extreme cold, causing delivery delays and costly roadside assistance.

In late 2024, the company replaced batteries in its heavy-duty trucks with JSTARY 48V lithium batteries. Featuring a built-in intelligent heating pad that automatically preheats in low temperatures, the battery delivers ample starting current even at -30℃. After a full winter of operation, vehicle start success rates reached 100%, with no breakdowns caused by battery failure.

“JSTARY batteries have completely solved our winter starting problems,” said the company’s Operations Director. “Before, we worried every winter morning whether trucks would start. Now drivers head out with confidence. The batteries are also much lighter and easier to install. This is one of our most successful equipment upgrades in recent years.”
