Smart BMS Early Warning Helps European Logistics Fleet Avoid Potential Battery Fire Incident

Fleet managers at a German logistics company received an urgent alert via the JSTARY smart monitoring platform: a battery cell in one truck showed abnormal voltage fluctuation, with the system identifying a potential internal micro-short circuit risk and recommending immediate removal from service.

The fleet immediately pulled the vehicle from its route and sent it for inspection. Technicians found a welding defect in an internal connector that could have caused localized overheating and potentially a fire. Thanks to timely intervention, a potential safety incident was avoided. The battery was replaced free of charge, and all other fleet batteries passed inspection.
