New 230Ah Truck Battery Earns DOT Safety Certification, Meets Strict Federal Standards

WASHINGTON, DC – The 24V 230Ah truck parking lithium battery has officially earned U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) safety certification, meeting strict federal standards for on-road use. The battery’s 12-layer BMS protection system prevents overcharging, short-circuiting, and thermal runaway, while its flame-retardant shell passes all crash and fire safety tests. DOT spokesperson Lisa Hamilton noted that the certification is a big win for truckers: “Safety is our top priority, and this battery checks every box. Truckers can hit the road knowing they’re using a product that meets the highest federal standards.” The certification also allows fleet operators to use the battery across state lines without compliance concerns.
