African Off-Road Transport Fleet Adopts JSTARY Lithium Batteries to Conquer Desert and Gobi Extreme Terrain

An off-road transport company serving East Africa has shared its battery upgrade experience. The company’s fleet operates on desert, Gobi, and unpaved roads, where intense vibration and dust severely shorten battery life.

In 2025, the company replaced all off-road truck batteries with JSTARY 48V lithium batteries, featuring reinforced vibration-resistant construction and IP65 dust protection. After one year of operation, battery failure rate was zero, compared to a 40% annual failure rate with lead-acid. Vehicle availability rose to 98%, and customer satisfaction improved significantly.
