An Italian urban delivery company has announced that its entire fleet of electric-assist cargo tricycles has been upgraded with JSTARY 48V lithium batteries. The company specializes in last-mile delivery in city centers, processing hundreds of packages daily with extremely frequent start-stop cycles.
In 2025, the company replaced lead-acid batteries with JSTARY 48V 100Ah lithium batteries. Following the upgrade, vehicle range increased from 80 km to 150 km, and charging time dropped from 8 hours to 2 hours. Drivers complete 25% more deliveries daily, adding 30,000 packages annually. Battery life also extended from 1 year to over 5 years, drastically reducing replacement costs.
“Urban delivery is a race against time,” said the Operations Director. “JSTARY batteries let our vehicles go farther and charge faster – directly translating into business growth. We plan to upgrade our entire fleet next year.”
