A company specializing in cross-border cold chain transport in Europe has announced that its entire refrigerated fleet has been upgraded with JSTARY lithium batteries. The company’s vehicles travel daily between France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, making multiple stops where maintaining the cold chain is critical.
In 2025, the company installed JSTARY 48V lithium battery systems on all refrigerated trailers, powering reefer units when the tractor engine is off. Following the upgrade, each vehicle reduces idling by 4-6 hours per day, saving over 80,000 liters of diesel annually while reducing noise and emissions. Freshness-related complaints dropped by 60%.
